absolutly love the cam cover! and thats an impressive driveway, vtec family :)

any power figures with the itb's?

thats one of the cleanest engine bays i've ever seen, cam cover looks mint too

which company do the itb mate? any link. im looking for a set for mine.
also nice levin you have, does it run on 4v or 5v ?
thanks

IIRC the throttle bodies are off a cbr1000 honda fireblade motorcycle with a custom made intake manifold.

stunning car mate, what plans you got to bring a cold air feed to your itbs?

quick question....
i've been itching for some itb for along time but i have no budget for a standalone ecu.. notice u are running cromepro... does this software support tps or are u still running map.?

amazing car mate!

great driveway too! :nice:

no dyno fiqures as of yet the tom@frd prefers to road tune i will be going to dyno but i need the map tweaked as i put the 2.5 exhaust on after i had the first tune

the levin runs a 20v its my buddy love it he running open itbs as well

no plans of how to run a cold air feed i know i should really. might raise the bonnet up at rear but i hate that look

yip the itbs are from a cbr1000 wanted to keep it honda lol all in it cost me about 1k to get them on and tuned

the crome does support tps the guy at future racing developments has the program for this

hey j-spec.

was considdering geting the cbr1000 itb conversion of frd like. only live 15 miles away from there.

wanted to know a few thing about the kit. mabey you could help?

what is the drivability like with them fitted?
does tom just chip your std ecu or do i need another one like a p30?

i was think about a high comp build. mabey just a spoon 1.8 stroker form funkypower :)

anyway im gonna speak to tom when im back onshore in two weeks.

also id love to meet up and you take me out in your can for a quick spin so i could see what they are like done :) you on jne bud?

thanks, chris

the drivabilty is awesome but the throttle control is very light and you need to change your driving style

you need a p30 ecu and conversion harness and the ecu is chipped

a 1.8 on itb in ek9 would be awsome that my plan if i keep the ek9 but id be using a teg bottom end ek9 pistons and head

would love to take you out but i work abroad and wont be home till august will be at FRD for fine tuning possibly then ill give you a go

im on JNE but not on it a lot add me on msn or facebook if you want williamfmcurrie@msn.com id be happy to help

Lovely looking car :nice:

But it doesnt look that fast. At least not what i expected with your set up. Looks like pretty stock EK9 acceleration.

That rocker cover is absolutely delicious :D

Love ITB's, I'd definitely go for a custom cold air feed over the bonnet raise as I'm also not a big fan of how it looks :nice:

tbh its a completely different car more of a joy to drive it was 187bhp when i first got it and this set up is awesome around the backroads where i live

but i do know what your saying it was tuned with a 2inch exhaust and went better then we put a 2.5 system on but i will have it set up proper when im home

That Video of you getting a 15.1 are you not quite dissapointed? Doesnt seem to rev very free either, Maybe just me/video.

My first run in the dry with my DC2 ran a 15.1 and i was very dissapointed

why would i be disappointed i know theres a 14.xx in it easy but i love driving it now and hopefully get a track day or two in before i get rid of it and it may be the videos but it does shift now keeps up with the wifes teg where b4 it got pissed all over

You definatly need a cold air feed mate, makes sure a difference! You can hear it sucking through the filter too. :naughty:

May I ask tho, These ITB's are from a Cbr1000? Why? - They will be seriously restricting it, as I've found out with my 1600cc itbs..

Other than that, its an absolute stunner! Looks fantasic mate!
