I need to change this on my EK9 before I sell and the price of Honda is a joke. They said it comes up on their computer as for an Integra?

Anyway, will the EK9 share the same rear wheel bearing as another UK model, such as the EK4? And does anyone know where I can get one cheaper than OEM Honda?

I found one on Euro car parts, but unsure if it is the same? It says it is listed as EK4..but are they the same?

Civic VTi (1995-2001)QTY OF FIT 1
Part Info E type bearing
Axle Number EK4
Restriction R174.24
Vehicle Info D:30mm;D2:136mm;W:85mm
Engine Code Hatchback
Notes 158

Thanks.

Thanks for the link mate, appriciated.

Still looking for lower if possible LOL.

tried livvy ? or anyone else breaking a car at the mo there is usually at least 1 lol

Would it be okay to use a low milage second hand wheel bearing assembly?

Personally, I would only go for genuine Honda. I have gone through no less than six front Koyo bearings in the last year.

Buy OEM or buy twice. (Or three times...)

no an ek4 bearing will not be of any use to you . the ek4 uses a 4 stud fitment and the ek9 is 5 . thats just one difference for a start . would never reccomend using a second hand bearing ever . buy genuine honda or you will keep fitting cheap bearings over and over again .

Having said that, I've just checked the parts available from Lings for the EK4 and they don't list a genuine Honda bearing, either Koyo or NTN both at £86+VAT.

Since I've chewed another one this week, I am gettin a bit ****ing sick of this! :(

You might want to look into what the cause is of you having to replace that wheel bearing so often something not right there

Started up a seperate thread on the matter in the suspension forum.
