Ek9 or Celica gt-four st205


if you like power go for the gt4, Handling EK9, the EK9 still has the best 1.6L N/A motor in the world and is way more highly tuned. 116PS per litre N/A proves it.
 
Its not all down to figures, i have had several eg6, ek9 & dc2's on the track and they are right up there with the Scubies, Evo's, GT4's, Skylines and Supras. They do loose out on the long straights but catch up braking, cornering and cornering exit speed. In the Honda's you can get it wrong and have some fun (lift off over steer). The ABS is very well suited to the car, i found most other cars the ABS too eager and quite dangerous when it cuts in (Evo). The evo is only fun when raining and you can power slide it apart from that they are too safe.
Oh and 1/4 of a tank of fuel every 10 mins in most turbo cars on the track where as the Hondas will do about double this, also 30+ mpg on the road.
I have driven/imported/owned virtually every high performance Jap car and decided to have a 9 as my own car for the last 3 years. Never had a R32 but they do look fun. Any drivers i have spoke to on track days are alwis grinning big time.

just they are more common about my area hence a more boring car to choose from.

...... and i did race an evo 4 over 300bhp and did beat it! killer 3rd gear on the celica just seems to kill everything!

my mates gt4 wrc coudnt kill my old dc5 running 247hp
he had blitz filter and de cat pipe

he was well pissed off I caught him up and passed him at 145-50

too dam heavy gt4s .I was thinking a getting a evo 5 or a turbo car after I sold my dc but like people have said running costs are a joke

its simple this a good ek9 will cost over £6000 and the gt4 can be had little over £4000 so the story is buy the ek9 and if it dont live up to what u want sell it and u will have the cash for a gt4
