*UPDATE: July 16, 2010 - Civic Type R wing + Side Markers

Could you believe this is the same car? It's not fully finished yet, but this is what I have so far.

This is when I first got my car:

Since I recently TILTED my spoiler to resemble the Type R wing, the Type R wing is no longer a priority but I WILL GET IT IN THE FUTURE no matter what. It's just that I love how it's tilted right now that I'm not in a rush to get it. Soon I am doing the EK9 side markers and then engine swap with B16A2.

ahh good shout, didnt see a tilt in the photos but sounds really good mate.

i think your right about the side badges was going to mention that but didnt know to what extend you wanted your car to be a replica. badges on the side and red H bdges on the bonnet and tailtgate, red H centre caps on the wheels would complete this car.

such a difference, well done

The tilt was recent so it's u c it on the later photos here. BTW, I will do the red H center caps and badges once I get the engine swap and after I get the Civic Type R stickers on the side of the car and in the back.

i like it but i think you got a facelift type-r splitter rather than a pre-facelift, which imo would look alot better.

If u look at the 5th photo with the lips and rims, that's how I inherited the car from my brother. He said he regrets getting this 2000 Type R lip that fits the 96 Civics. He said he wish he bought the 96 type r lip. But I still love it a lot so i kept it and got the whole car painted.

nice car mhen....love the paint job

like Mattharvey12 said.....if your gonna replicate the pre-facelift type r, i suggest you put the right lip... it will be much nicer imo..but if you like it like that then thats not a type-r replica anymore.. anyways its your car, so its all good...:nice:

yea i suggest change it, if want you to be that much of a fan boy but still looks good
fair play!

I like those HX wheels. I had a B16A2 in my civic and I would recommend you save your money and get a type r motor.

LOL. Nah, it's fine, man. B16B is too much money. I'm not really gonna make this car super fast, just want it to be nearly as close as an EK9. I mean, it's impossible for my car to be a 100% replica of a EK9 anyways cuz it's a left hand drive, so yeah.
