Yes wastegate chatter is a sound indeed... but not as good as a screamer, get one on ;)

Yeah mate still am. The reason that happened was because the screamer pipe was hitting front slam panel when engine was under load, that's how it cracked then blew off while a was in Aberdeen.

Modified front panel and welded external wastegate pipe back on and never had a problem since

just watch out for those weak B20 blocks. but I think you got that covered since you still have your 16b. good job!
 
Well got a few more goodies for the car, B20 coming out and the 16 going back in. So got new oem head gasket, oil and filter. Also purchased Go Autoworks cast manifold, hondata boost control, Aem wideband, new front drop links and rear anti roll bar bushes.

Also got this Mugen rocker cover a few weeks ago, fitted new manifold yesterday but as its different from the other one i need to get new screamer pipe made up, get that done through the week.

Its losing oil pressure and won't engage vtec anymore also a lot of vibration coming from engine, sucks man! :angry2:

Turbo kit had been off the car for 7weeks, this all happened bout 4 weeks ago.

Just need to find time to change it now.
 
Aw man, that's a bit ****! Was the bottom end rebuilt before it go put in?

You sticking with the Turbo or back to n/a b16b? Hope you get it sorted soon man :)
 
Thats a sweet build up, have to say them s2k clocks are a nice touch,
Might try it in my own, what did they cost you and the speedohealer?

Thanks. Got the cluster and plugs for £110 and speedohealer for £85. Theres a guy on civiclife that sell a plug and play kit now though. Prob would be better using that.
 
Got myself a B18c4 bottom end, will be picking it up next weekend hopefully :dance:
