Sorry theres prob alot of people asking this on here.

Needing an every day tyre i use toyo T1Rs the now and I can feel them moving about, just needing something with a harder sidewall.

Cheers Henry

i thought they wouldve been a great everyday tyre. what pressure are you running? ever uase p6000s? or pradas?

Running front and rear at 32psi, Dont get me wrong grip is good. my mate ran pradas spec 2 good in the dry but when its damp there not the best.

i had p6000 for a while found them fairly good all round. correct me if im wrong someone i think dc2s come out of the factory with p6000s?? or r888 are a good option if you really want a stiff sidewall.

why would sidewall matter for a daily driver? will you be using it for fast road too?

i ran R888s and lasted about 2 months haha, yeh using it for fast road

Personally I'd want something cheap with half decent grip that lasts for an everyday tyre. If you go for a blast in track then get some proper track tyres

Well if its everyday and fast road then probz AD-08 but you need to state what your price range is?

Wouldn't put P6000 on anything I owned ever. Have driven a few cars with them they are unresposive and let go without warning.

If your happy with the Toyos but want a more responsive feel try the R1R's stiffer side wall and more grip orientated tread. Cost is inbetween Daily and Semi track tyres.

In reallity there is not much choice for a good road tyre since the Eagle F1 GSD3's all seem to be mid range to road legal track day tyres. Even the Mich Pilot sports ain't that great, I was dissapointed to how soft they were but also not that great in the wet.

Yet to try any Maxxis or federals which seem to get good reveiws.

Pirelli pzero nero were great on my 172 on track and road!

I've been using Michelin Exalto PE2

As an everyday tyre I think they're perfect really good grip in the dry and wet and also seem to of lasted an age!

Got my front tyres feb 2011 and have done about 14,000 miles so far, about 2mm from the legal limit notch at the moment.

So very good value for me!

Not been on track so can't say if they will manage that sort of abuse but pushed on the road they feel totally fine.

Agree the r1r's are fantastic tyre for the money! Kept my Astra on the road! Only think is they are as soft as 888's but have like 7mm tread.
Also agree with the you on the p6000! There on the gf's corsa and I've had that thing jump out sideways on me for no reason!
Had gds3 aswell, good tyre for rain and dry.

Really depends on your budget and how long you want them too last.

Yoko ad08 are great road tyres, depends on how many miles you do though. In a 16 they set me back 500 for a set.

I found the T1R tyres pretty good on road or track?

When you say you feel them moving about, are you sure its the tyre? It could be worn bushes etc?

How about federal 595 rs-r? The life in them is really good and grip is great!

the probelm is that any tyre that really really performs and is very very good any condition is going to wear a bit quicker. depends how often you want to buy tyres.

Yokohama s drives are very good and quite hard, the paradas are better grip and a great tyre for the money but death trap in wet

My time to choosing tires is also coming, so looks like best ballance (daily/fast roads + wet) we can get from yoko ad 08?!
R1r in total for 4 tyres will be more expensive.
