F/S - SUPERCHARGED EK9 - 230 BHP @ only 5 psi

Saw this on pistonheads and i want it so much lol

If only my 182 would sell.

Would prefer the standard spoiler though.

Good luck with the sale.

Seems like a dead market for any car at the moment I think mate, probably not the best time to sell any car. But there are buyers out there....

even though this is an ek9 forum ........ can you post a pic of you scooby once you've purchased it back . they are another car that i wouldn't mind owning. specially the light weight model. is that the RA spec one whcih apparently stands for Race Altered

Yes the ra does stand for that. Although the ra is a lightweight model, so is the type r which I owned (the one I'd like to buy back) the type ra and type r are essentially the same spec give or take. The type ra is a for door version and has manual windows and no central locking, and the type r is a 2 door coupe version (same as the 22b and P1) but has electric windows and central locking. Both of them have the driver control center diff (dccd), intercooler spray, and a mad short ratio gearbox. The type ra weighs 1160kgs and the type r weighs in at 20kgs extra.

I have quite a few photos of my old scooby which I will post up in another thread in the gallery section when I get a chance.

yeah ive had lots of interest in my car but no one to actually turn up with the cash. the right person for the car will turn up sooner or later!

Sounds about right mate! All talk and no action.

I've had nothing but p/x offers, I'm assuming thats because they are struggling to sell their cars themselves.

i saw this car at crail when the last owner had it and its some car. very nice
if i could sell my car i would seriusly consider buying it.

good luck with the sale mate

I was just looking at the pictures of this car when ant owned it. The rocker cover and supercharger look mint init, however when you look at it now there is quite a considerable amount of paint flaking off it! Did you power wash the bay and lift the paint off?

Can't see any other way it would go like that in a short time?!

i had a very similar 9 a couple of years back, same c's conversion etc but sits on te37's,think this could be confusing people as its had a few owners.

The camcover and supercharger may look mint in those old photos when Ant owned it, but they certainly werent mint when I bought it. Both the supercharger and especially the cam cover were very dirty, basically from mucky oily mechanics hands all over it from any work that had been done on it, and that really frustrates me! So I cleaned the engine bay up considerably. I don't ever jet wash engine bays from bad previous experience, so I now use Auto Glym's engine and machine cleaner, brush it into the surface with a soft wheel cleaning brush, and then spray it off with a misting spray bottle. Its the most delicate process but can still lift any 'loose' but not showing flakes on the cam cover and supercharger. I'd rather have a slightly flakey but clean camcover and charger than an oily and dirty one where it blattently looks like it hasn't been cared for. Everyone knows that Honda DOHC camcovers are prone to flaking anyway, its not the end of the world. :)

Ahhh! Thanks for clearing that up mate!

Its one of those things mate, considering the car is 11 years old the camcover and supercharger are actually in very good condition. Its a very small amount of flaking compared to some of the previous DOHC honda's I've owned in the past. My old Jordan was only 4.5 years old when I had that with only 31k on the clock when I bought it and the camcover was terrible.

2 years later. Get some pics and vids up of it in photos/vids section :nice:
