Today was the the day i have dreamt about for the last six years,i am finally the proud owner of a ek9....but still have to wait til september till im 17..:(
anyways heres a picture of the ctr...

congratz on the purchase man! ek9 at 17!! i only wish i could have afforded one at that age.. im not for from you actually i live near ballina!
 
Cheers lads,its so anoying though having it siting there in the drive way,because im only 16,im not on the road until september...:(still im on sucha buzz now i have one...:)
 
EK9 at 16 ?? And you saved for 6 years. Thats dedication man you fully deserve one for that nice one !
 
i duno...:(i have a eg3 to drive for the first 6months til i get the full then il go about geting the 9 insured...
 
you havent tried getting quoted yet? :s there not cheap to insure man. fair play for buying one at 16 though..
 
mate, i highly recommend you get the stored away in a locked garage if its uninsured. imagine if it got stolen! then your ****ed to say the least. also please be careful with it. these cars arent slow and we dont want you or anyway getting hurt.

p.s welcome and you lucky to have that car lol

i wish i had a garage te put it in..:(i would be gutted if it got robbed..the ol mans insured on it though,wanted to see what it was like...lol...and there awful quick,i had a glanza befor this and canot get over the diference...:shocked:loving the vtec..:nice:
 
fair play mate, from what i hear of ireland mate, a lot of these cars are getting stolen aswell so get an alarm fitted asap

I cant see you getting insured to be honest with you
youl need to get a couple of years no claims
but im liking your style buying the car then worrying bout insurance after

dont be sad bro...you waited 6yrs i'm sure you still have a lot of patience till september...thats a big dedication you got there..congrats on your first ride man and goodluck, be easy on the acceleration ok..:)
 
Lucky U..I'm 34,and still without EK9!But,i do owned an EG6 tho..!
Be careful with those Vtec mate. . .they are known to be Addictive!
