I was interested to find last night, that I only had about 50% down force on the Camino Jeijo race, not the 100% I thought I had...
 
does everyone run 100% aero? im only on about 75% as i dont wanna slow to much lol
 
depends on track!

Tight and twisty 75% to 100%...

Fast and open 0% rear and 30% max!

There is a lot of tweaks elsewhere that can help with the corner ability :nice: Dont want to loose too much on straights as it can undo everything you have done on the corners :nono:
 
that was my trouble. i was pretty even on straights on camino but my cornering was off. i think it was due to concentration of talking to much haha
 
Yeah I only run moderate aero, but my ratios kill me on the straights, I need to work on a new tune ready for Hockenhiem!!!

It takes practice, and a lot of time tuning!!! You can make a car differnet in many ways. i have about 6-7 ek9's with 15+ seperate tunes. I am in no way the best, but if you keep working on them bit by bit you can sort out the loose ends.

i have one at 254bhp and most down at 210bhp-220bhp.......you have to get a fine balance for the track you are using :dance:

I wasnt using a wheel until i got my ass handed to me on the 1st corner of the last race, decided to use it along with no ABS and with the clutch....VERY steap learning curve but it has paid off with my times dropping a few seconds :naughty:

I think the wheel i am using is the old wired mad cats 2 set, not the best turning circle but better than turning a pad :lol:

Good idea! We couldnt save it on sunday cause we never finsihed race though cause we had 1 car on track totally :wow: or did i miss the chance to save it? :blabla:
 
Nah I waited but couldn't get it either.

You guys are running teh m4d p0warz, I only got 195bhp! :p

No wheel for me, I asked for a Fanatec for Christmas but I don't see that one happening!
 
Oh and Jimbob.....there is 34 type R's quicker than my time :nerv:

The leaderboard on xbox is very glitchy with the car used when jumping through the list :nono:

Time for some investigation and reviewing :blinx:
 
gunna blitz this tonight

i have 2 B500 ek9 tunes, 1 silly powered HellaFlush ek9 lol and probably another one

1 turbo'd with all handling
1 cammed with all handling.

silverstone a while back i was miles infront but now i get my arse handed to me lol

i think i just didnt like camino gaygo
