As above. Whats your opinion...

I can save myself a further £200 this year by dropping to TPFT.

My car would never be replaced to its full value as the value is only 5500.

If i did crash and it was my fault i wouldn't claim as i don't want to wreck my insurance costs for future. I would repair it myself.

So whats the point me being fully comp?

Well there isn't any then unless you crash it Beond repair in which case you will be left with pretty much nothing

I'm currently TPFT as I really couldn't afford fully comp in my own name at 17 under the civ.
£900 isn't bad for my first year i don't think.

When i can afford it I will be Fully Comp, just for piece off mind.

If you want your years no claims I'd go fully comp

What? That makes no sense...

I don't think I will go fully comp this year. I have no need for it as any accident that was my fault I would repair myself. Cause if I claimed I could not afford to insure either car or bike afterwards.

third party then doush bag, specially as you dont drive it on road that much, you declairing super duper engine etc?

I thought if you want more no claims you have to go fully comp as I was third party for 2 years and my insurance company (then) didn't send me out years no claims bonus?!

I just renewed my ej9's insurance and i'm paying the same as last year. I did try tpft but it was going to be an extra £149 over fully comp. That really confused me

But i insure all my cars fully comp even the Jordan and it is not even on the road. In case the worst happens it will be covered some how. Plus i thought it would have been on the road quicker

No and I'd be chasing up that 2 years NCB you earnt.

fully comp for me, as its currrently my main mode of transport and just because of the cars value and i can drive any other car and be insured on my current policy. Its all legalised theft anyway with made up prices just like fuel! As its all something we need so they can charge whatever they like... :(

for you tpft shoulds plenty, but if its kept in a secure place third party only would suffice for me.

After revising my value i can only have FC now. Oh well!

Makes me laugh car ins!

Indeed of does. Outta curiosity...how much you been quoted (and who from)? Tell me to get stuffed if ya don't wanna say though. Won't take it personally ;)

Adrian Flux £650 FC, protected no claims bonus, driving other vehicles, all mods declared urm.... Not sure what else.

26 years old 6 years driving 7 year no claims

Second vehicle Motorbike

10 years no claims

I pay 440 a year FC, might drop it TP if the drop is that big

Wow. To me that's a good price! Atm uk paying around £1,300 fully comp, all Mods, points etc declared, 3 years ncb. But I guess its all relative. I was going to say judging by your circumstances, TPF&T would have sufficed but obvs that's not an option anymore :/

I would say you are about the right price though. I always try

SKY
Adrian Flux

Also tried a couple other this year which did beat the price but then Adrian Flux came back with a better offer to beat them.
