GoAutoworks ? or Other

Speak to Greg again and see what he says. Just tell him you want a Garrett. You'll need to sleeve the B20 ideally if you plan on boosting it. Make sure you tell him what kind of racing you'll be doing also.

he says 63a/r for garrett. so waiting on finances now.

just a another question. what type of oil you guys use in turbo honda's ? on track wouldnt 10w40 burn up bet i'm going to need a bigger oil cooler lol

Agree on picking Garrett over Precision turbo, heard too many bad stories about Precision. A 57trim with .63A/R will reach .7bar on a b16a in around 4500. Maybe pick a 50trim with .63A/R housing if you want the turbo to spool earlier.

Which trim? You need to see what your oil temps are like and go from there. You may want to step up to a 50 weight.

he didnt say much about the trim.

0.7 bars at 4500 is ok this means it will have started spooling before i only plan to run .6 bars.

And will look into 50 weight. what about 60 weight ?

60 weight is to thick unless you have built the engine with loose clearances. At the most use 50 weight. Try and stick with 40 if you can.

might have to get a biger oil cooler then me think's :/

will see about oil temps when i get it all sorted

how do you work out the spool times and at what rpm for the various trim sizes? I know 50 trim will spool quicker than the rest, just interested to how much much quicker in the rpm it does?

I have a go autoworks ram horned manifold and I've had nothing but trouble with it. It's cracked all the time. I've had it 3 yrs this year. And can't afford to change it it so I just run it how it is. People who built my car don't even want to know anymore either... Be careful.

Full-Race and dont look back, best products and customer service in the business, you may quibble they are not the cheapest place in the world but you wont have to buy twice.

You're unlucky. I've had my GO-AUTOWORKS stuff for over 2 years now and I've had no issues what so ever. In fact you're the only person I know out of many that's had a problem.

Well maybe. It's been welded up 3times now, first to go was the wastegate. Next to fell off during a track day about 6months after I got it back. If not less. Then it went around the inside left pipe going down in the middle. My tuner doesn't want to know anymore, so I think my car could be on its way to Ricky, see hat he makes of it!!!

On a B20? Our basic kit would be on full boost under 3000rpm's.

This could be more down to high EGT's than the manifold to be honest. Give me a call we can get to the route of the problem.

I was looking at boosting my b20 but my builder said its a bad idea due to the b20's walls being quite thin.

So if the basi kit is 1400 plus delivery how much would import taxes be est to mainland england ??? Sorry to ask dont know how they work it out ??
