I have a grounding kit in my engine, they are worth buying you wont notice a lot of diffrence in preformance.

i have an ek9 lads and i got one from funkypower and i couldnt use it, not one of the cables fitted and it came with an adaptor to go over my battery and that was too big aswell. if u got an ek9 dnt get it from funky power

put it this way, your not really going to see any gains...

But your mind will make it feel better..... Personally i wouldnt bother unless you have a bit of spare money or generally have bad electrical problems therefore that would be an option......

thanks for the comments guys, so i think i should just leave my car just the way it is and save my time and money. maybe spend my money on new spark plug and ht leads.

it may be worth replacing your old earth straps with new ones and cleaning the block where they bolt on.
or better still, read the above link posted by blinx, and make your own heavy duty engine earth.

The youngest EK9 out there is nearing 10 years old - grounds and questionable maintenance along the way with previous owners etc. contribute to corrosion.

This leads to fluctuation of voltage which can lead to a loss of performance.

If you've got bad electrical problems, fix the problem first, not by adding more clutter to the engine bay.

Begin with what others have suggested, clean off all grounding points and then consider replacing the worn and generally corroded OEM grounding cables and then adding more. The link blinx posted up is well worth reading in detail.
