Group 24!!

picked up my new Civic EK4, no mods, 97, im 20 2NCB and FC. The guy in new deli advised its £1100 because my car is a group 24!!!
i used to own a mini one D which was £10k and that was a group 4.
can someone shed some light on what the hell he was talking about??

The EK4 is a group 15 car in northern ireland. I assume it'll be the same on the mainland! I didn't even know insurance groups when't up as high as 24:nono:
 
i didnt either but hey. maybe my standard ek4 is secretly better than a skyline!! lol!:nice:
 
just looking at the pictures of your car its not even a ek4 its a ej9. and that is group 7
 
group 20 is the highest

Youl probably pay around £600 for your insurance depending on your postcode (and insurance company)

We may be able to cover him TPFT.. it depends on the risk profile presented.

We insure a few 21 years olds on EK9's.
 
20A is the highest i thought.

i did speak to once company a while back who did their own rating which was over 60 stages depending on what the vehicle was originally and then mods etc.
