geezuz! been following this thread a while. Sorry to hear about all this difficulty!
 
Mine has the same small crack about there too but I also have one where the spoiler meets the base.

Have already put mine on the car to see how it looks and it's ok but not perfect. I also had to cut the bolts to length as they where waaay to long!

I have ordered some repair filler for cracks in carbon fibre which is black and can be polished to a gloss so should look a lot better. I'll update when I get it and see if it's any good.


Have any one who hasn't had theirs yet heard from him520?? I'm getting worried that the others will be forgotten in amongst all this. :angry:
 
Have to be careful with the cracks guys... its likely they will deteriorate over time as moisture gets in.

Absolutely shocked at the quality of this 'vendor' thought the vendor badge was an assurance of quality here :(
 
Yep, I think we were all abit naive with this vendor :) robbie + others, for the crack I put some epoxy resin in the crack, its as good as any repair, its marine grade and it absorbs into the fibres reducing any further damage, rd55 dun that bend in the baseplate is horrific :angry2:
 
Yep bought some epoxy resin, just had to check!

Good news that it will sort the cracks was pretty cheap too!

funny enough, mine was warpped in only 2 layers of bubblewrap and a bit of cardbox!!!! even my grandma could wrap better than that!! WTF

Have the rest of them arrived yet?

Has anyone attempted to repair the damage to their spoilers? I would guess getting a replacment one would be a bit of a PITA due to the time we waited on these.
 
I'm still to receive anything at all. Yesterday I called Paypal to log a big complaint with this joker. I then, under their advise, logged a compaint with econsumer.gov who investigate fraud and sellers abroad ripping off UK residents. Using the information that a few of you dug up on Soul Racer/Emotion Racer I basically handed it all over to them for investigation.
Seller - would you like to update this thread at all??? If me and the fellow members who were ripped off by you are refunded/compensated/given what we paid for back in January, I'm willing to contact the investigators to tell them the case has been resolved with the seller. If not good luck trading in the UK again:nice:

I had emailed him a couple of times but never had a reply so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I manged to find his ebay but seems to have a fairly good rep.

I am pretty sure this is him as when you save seller "him520msport, Emotionracer" comes up on the name list.
