This is for the fellow American members on here. Happy Thanksgiving. Hope ya'll have a fun and safe Turkey Day!

My brother's wife cookin again this year. Man she can cook just about as good as my mom. Lookin forward to some friggin awesome turkey.
 
As im English, first id like to wish you a happy thanksgiving and second what is thanksgiving and why is it celebrated. DOnt get me wrong national holdays are sweet but i never understood this one.
 
It's a day to give thanks for all that we have..... and to eat a huge ass meal, the main thing being turkey :p

It's also a family and friends thing. Usually family will get together sometimes just the immediate family and for some the extended family as well. Some people will join friends if they can't be with their family.
 
I am american as well but now based in the UK. We still have a Thanksgiving dinner but not as much family as its a little far to travel now. So happy Turkey day.

Normally I would crammed my face but havin a cold makes it hard eat and breathe at the same time so I had to give up early this year. Christmas is next. Maybe I won't sick on that meal and can friggin cram the food in. That and nothing can screw up presents. Particularly when you make the least money in the family therefore you spend less and get stuff that's worth more than what you spent.
