hi guys the names tom im 19 from nottingham but during the week i work in the RAF at RAF coningsby as a mechanic :p i currently own my first car which is a ej9 which i am currently making it a type r pre facelift replica for now and then modding it further ready for the vtech challange which meens slamming a blueprinted k20a in her and seemwelding the chassis and maybe just maybe turbocharging the k20 id like to know what you think of my plans and if you have any advice or ideas for my project.
 
:welcome: mate, unusual name you have up!? the k20 and a turbo kit, it would be a real beast, with the right mods it would be near 400bhp+ :nice:
 
oh yeh erm the name lol well thats a wee story at rising sun car show 2010 i got a wee pit how should we say intoxicvated and i went streeking whilst there was a dance of between forums with all the car lights going and one of the lads gave me the name and it stuck haha n yeh im looking to make her under 800kg too mamouth task but i want her to smash the vtech challange n i want her to be known within the jdm scene
 
sounds good man, best of luck with the project and the comps... i'd say its a hard task to win the vtec challenge??
 
oh yeh deffinatly but im saving money by only buying parts an im saving like **** and im hopefully gna get sponsered by the RAF n they will pay half woop and all entry fee's

i was at Coningsby, what SQN are you on? i was on 3 SQN before going over to 6 SQN and moving up north to leuchars :)

as for the sponsorship dude, its a negative :( me and my pals have been trying for a long time now and seems like we were banging our head against walls :angry:
