so...

I had a nasty knock coming from the left of my car :(

I thought it was something common like driveshafts/ cv joints/ ARB etc so i took the car down to Ryan & Shane down @ rhino motors.

Ryan found the problem within minutes (facepalm)

Basically the BuddyClub camber adjusters the previous owner fitted, well one side had all 4 bolts like it should of, one side only had 2 :|:|

So yeh ryan replaced and tightened the bolts for me, couple of the holes had to be re-drilled due to the snapped bolts and have new threads tapped. but now is all well :D

Stunning Ek9 matey, that exhaust looks well on it :D

I've heard bad things about those buddyclubs, Over the 3years of owning mine they were fine but checked them again the other day and one bolt had gone! needless to say they have all been replaced with some nice high tensile 6sided bolts instead of little allen ones!

I need to get a snow foamer!
 
if another bolt goes again i'll be taking them out and putting the standard arms back in, bludey things.

currently absolutely ****-eye in mud, dirty water and a tiny bit of oil on the boot lid after an epic weekend of driving, some very spirited. do love this car !
 
thinking of getting a rear tow hook.. silver, white or black ?

and where from ? seen tegiwa ones, anything else ?

Hoping for near enough standard figures , rolling with a panel filter that needs a clean and a spoon n1 rep. nothing that should change the figures, but still. we'll see what the baby has got !

No real updates apart from it has another 12 Months MOT yay. :p :drive:

On payday I'm buying 4 New tyres, doing an overdue service and getting a cv boot replaced.

But the sun is shining here in plymouth tonight so would be rude not to get some pics. car is so clean right now :bow:

Looks stunning mate, you might want to put your progress in a build thread, any thing planned b18/k20? So miss driving a ek9 maybe I might invest one day in another and use it for track.
 
Great looking car . I would not worry about making under standard power

The quoted 185 is in ps any way not bhp so is about 182
Plus age of our cars and our lower uk fuel rating

Will at rdt says most make around 130hp at hubs

Also hub dyno like rdt use is the best for accuracy
