A heads up really, for those that dont now, The new Honda drag series is official for 2013 and will be run at Shakespeare County Raceway.

This series was set up following on from the Civiclife "Super Street Drag Class" thread



For those that want to drag race a Honda this series is bracket racing, there is no tyre rules. no weight limit, no power limit, Turbo, supercharged, Nitrous or straight n/a you can race and may be able to win, as bracket racing is more about consistency and driver skill than outright power.

Join the forum, become a member and come race.

Guys please dont be put off thinking its all big power, lots of b16 normal civics ect.
 
Its a shame there are not diffrent classes, bracket racing is not my bag

Come on guys most cars in HDRS are NA road cars, put your money where your mouth is!
 
This sounds good. Shakespeare is less than an hours drive down the motorway from me, and my car should be back on road for mid to late march so ill definitely pop down. I'd love to compete but I've never been down a strip before so might need some practices first lol.

whats the point in drag racing an ek9, save it for the v8/pro boys far more entertaining!
 
It's fun! and you dont see many cars NA under 2L doing 13's :)
