All the way from Blackpool to Kettering for the Flying Fortress Stages Rally for me and Chris who usually services and was navigating on his first event, and what a great job he did Thanks to Steve for showing him the ropes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1QDqkxGwec&feature=youtu.be Enjoy !

SS1 went ok, stupidly let a Subaru go in front at the split, cost us 15 secs or so following him for a whole lap
SS2 set 10th fastest time but a power steering pipe rattled loose, thanks to Shaun and Chris for helping to fix it.
First corner of SS3 the crater ON the corner bent a steering arm which slowed us for a lap whilst i got confident the wheel wasnt coming off, arrived at the finish leading the 1600's by 48 secs.
Managed to spin on SS4 avoiding the craters along the chicained straight, wiping the front bumper/ grill off and as we recovered it looks like the bumper went under the car and wiped the crank sensor out, its still there but the engine has no spark

Sorry to hear about the damage mate, looks like you's had a lot of fun though :)

Nice vid, looks like alot of fun, I never knew Civics were that good off-road :p

use avo dampers, 3 way ones, there mint, as it was snowing on and off i put some pirelli ice/snow tyres on, they work great when very cold and have a nice wide open pattern, which is great in the standing water

cheers, the crank sensor is goosed so hopefully when the new one arrives in a while it will run again:D
