rang around recently to price going to a ek9 and the price shot up to £2500, near shat myself:shocked:, so going to wait till the end of this year when i've 5yr NCB and 22 and try again.:nice:

Adrian Flux quoted me around £650 on a '99 EK9 FC. 23 with 3 years NCB and 1xSP30 with a 15% discount to be added for being a Pistonheads member.

My EK4 with mods is about £500 FC. Shame I can't afford an EK9 really... :(
 
Insurance is mad in N'ireland, even worse in the south. you lad's on the mainland have it good! I will find a way. no sacrifice no victory! :D
 
i pay £3450!! and thats 3rd party fire and theft and its in my brothers name !! i got caught speeding when i was 17 and lost my licence for a year, had to sit my test again and pay the price when i ask for insurance!!:((

i am 18 and cant get insured on my ek9 so put it under my sisters name for 600euro tpft

In the US so mine's a little different.

Just turned 21 and my most recent bill was $48 (monthly). It was $70 when I was 20. This is just for liability. I may add comprehensive back on or maybe up it even more if it's cheap enough. Adding comprehensive looks like it would only raise it to $60 a month. That's still less than what I paid at 20 for just liability.

US insurance is so cheap in comparison :angry2:

My friend used to live in South Carolina and explained how it works to me, it's completely different to in the UK, and much more sensible in my opinion!

if it was that cheap in the uk i would have a collection of civic :nono:
 
i was 18 when i had my 9 and i had 3 points it was £2550 but then i got 6 points and it was £3500 so had to sale it
