how to test clutch

i have my car since 2007 which is about 4 years now and i never replace the clutch before, i think the last owner said it had ek9 clutch in it. so do anyone tell me how to test out the clutch without taking it out, maybe this is a silly question but i just want to know

put the car into 4th gear mate let out the clutch and if it stalls straight away its good. this is a basic way but i have always gone by this

What he says. Just don't do it too often, it's not good for your engine 1 time won't matter but 4 times is useless

This ^ but make sure you have your handbrake on when your doing it !

pull the handbrake up as high as it can go and go to drive off if it stalls its good...slips shes ****ed

Do you guys Know of a way of adjusting the height of the pedal? Might feels quite high to me.
