Hello I just wanted to ask would it be hard/expensive to get insurance on a 99 civic ek 1.6 type r for my first car? And what company would you recomend?

Cheers

depends how old you are. But it wont be hard if your willing to pay the penalty. This is group 19 or 20

Ohh rite sorry

Is group 20 not the highest insurance group?

Sorry for the stupid questions btw lol

And i seen a ek 1.6 type r for sale and it said group 6?

cheers think ill just get a 1.4 and build up a few no claims and a few years expierence then get a type r.

Do you have any idea what group around the 1.4 would be?

Cheers
