I saw this on civiclife and thought some of you guys (especially those in the process of doing a k20 build or even thinking about doing it) would want to take a look.

Just reading through the thread now, and it seems like the owner did all the work himself in a short space of time too:cool:

I know...sweet car or what to have at 19.

After reading that, it makes you wonna buy a k20 engine,box, subframe etc, gather a few mechanical minded friends and see what you can do lol.

He made it look so easy.

Reading about the conversion it seemed like an expensive time consuming nightmare, but he did it over night!?

Deffo. I cringed at the work/cash involved when I looked into a k20 swop.
But after seeing this, it seems like there maybe some hope for the k20 DIY'ers yet lol

hmm, read the guys thread,not much detail on things and a few questions i'd have been interested to see answered,sump clearance,what mounts used,has the support bracket been welded onto the subframe for the mount at the rear etc.

but nice all the same,suppose this kind of thread (i mean half filled with pointless stuff,gay,downs etc) is what you get on civiclife lol,not the forum for me i'm afraid.

I know the fella who did it was asking me where i got my parts and stuff for my build he gather alll the parts and did it in 2 days......He's a mech himself so would of been pretty easy for him have all the tools !
 
That first build thread with the guy from holland with one arm is pretty mental lol,sequential gearbox will be mental suppose he needs it with one arm though :)
 
Oh i want a k20a convertion soo bad

all parts he got are from hybrid racing i think they do a package

K-essentials package A (starter pacakge) - Package Deals

i would do this once my car is fiished in my eyes so i could save but all i want to no is all prices and delivery on parts (as most are from us)

also on that thread with the k20 ek from civiclife, what was happeing with his decat ?

and one other thing i want to no is, which b-pipe would you use for the car i.e if you wanted spoon ? would it be ep? dc5? or ek ? and also the same with intake if i wanted a mugen intake it would have to be for a ep/dc5 but how would these fit with mounting brackets etc ?
