I fitted a manifold on monday night and had to drive it the the exhasut place to customise a de-cat for me. the management light came on obviously. i have discinnected the battery to erase the codes that is sometimes possible with civics. its still coming on though. my car is a facelift b16a2 on an x 2000. Can anyone tell me what plug i have and where and what it looks like? thanks

If you look under your dash on the passenger side. Just behind the center console. you will see 2 plugs that are in a black. one of them will have 2 wires on it. That is the diagnostic plug on your car. Bridge those 2 wires together turn the ignition and and read the CEL light. short flash = 1. Long Flash = 10. count the flashes and you can see what is wrong.

As said above sounds like it will be your O2/Lambda sensor.

Hope that helps.

Chris allan at east linton told me that you cant erase codes by disconnecting the battery after a certain year off car

Hello,

I have a Honda Civic EK4 VTI Xreg (2000) The face lift models. I tried to obtain fault codes by bridgeing the two pin connector located just behind the centre console.
The ABS Light flashes. I was wondering is it only the ABS Light that gives out the fault codes?

Can someone please help
:please:
