insurance is an absolute killer. will be sad to see her go if i have to...

third party only, and i need to pay it up with 1 initial and 3 monthly. hate insurance.
thought about getting a crappy 1.0 run about for a bit but came back even worse!

What age are you, Im paying less than that fully comp at 21 on an s2000.

Do you limit the miles, where is the car kept, where do you stay etc?

Could you put your parent/parents etc cars on a multicar policy with admiral? this dratistically reduced my price on the s2000 even though one of my dads cars isnt going on till 11 months into the policy.
 
thats ruffly what i had to pay for my 1st years insurance for my corsa lol dont think it will get much cheaper than that

Again I pay 1900 for my ek3 nd that Is second driver too but im aa student too but I have a aalrite job so I can keep up with it so why are you struggling and try to bargain with them over the phone and make up some stories and ask to speak to the manager.
 
Insurance is a bi*ch! At least as you get older and the more ncb you get the cheaper its gets but while your young you really do get it bad!!

I paid £2200 on a 1.4 Astra for my first years insurance. Has to be done!
 
Insurance is a joke. I got hit on a roundabout other driver couldn't be anymore at fault. This was September 2010 insurance went up from £800 a year to £3500 and ive lost my 4 years no claims.
Apparently its not closed yet so i will get my no claims back if im proven not at fault. Still a ball ache seeking legal advice now.
Anyway £1400 is not alot of money roughly £116 a month.

Id agree its not alot of money if he was insuring a performance car aha, but not for a 1.5 EK3 economy vehicle haha.
 
Stop complaining and get it paid,if this is your first car your getting off easy. Im 19,2 years ncb,3rd car and im £1k tpft.

Turning into civiclife here,cunts not able to afford to run there car let alone buy cool **** for it.
 
insurance prices sucks for imported cars, my insurance has went up this year €156 so i rang them and they said theres nothing they can do :angry2: my friend who is 43 has a subaru foster sti and his went up £300 this year, in general everyone's policy is going up and theres nothing we can do :(

True but it all comes down to the persons age. The only industry that gets away with age discrimination, car insurance is expensive when you are young and when you get old travel insurance goes up so much the older you get.
 
FFS you guys are getting screwed over there...I understand you have to pay more if you're young, but the figures I'm hearing here are insane.

Imho how nice a community is is not defined by what other people can buy/afford but by their personalities.
 
Are you talking about civiclife? I have never been on it personally but i hear its full of wee boys and dreamers. I can confirm hondacivicforum.co.uk is full of deluded dreamers, have had my time wasted on more than one occasion on that forum. Also anyone who takes Airwolf seriously has more issues than Airwolf himself.
