I have a titanium j's racing catback for a dc2 & wondering would it be worth modifying to fit my ek9. Will I get problems with the welds down the line because I've heard it's very hard to weld titanium properly. I just don't want to cut up a perfectly good catback if it won't last. Has anyone on here done this before. Any comments welcome. Cheers

i just sold my dc2 j's racing, was going to do the same thing but mine was only a few months old and thought it would of been a shame to cut a 1000 pound catback lol

I'm a bit wary of cutting it too man. I think I might just sell it on.

For the price, i'd sell that and get one specifically for the 9. You'll loose a lot of money when you come to selling it if its been modified. And there are some people that can weld titanium successfully, but it's difficult.

I wouldn't cut it up man! Sell it and look foe an ek9 one! I love my j's racing for my 9

fcuk cutting up the exhaust

cut the car up to make it fit

:troll:

I modified my J's racing exhaust from my DC5 to fit my EK.... But it did modify anything to the cat back canister just the mid pip section and it fits okay, a little to far out but that because I am trying to fit a diffuser.

I have someone off the site asking about it so hopefully it will sell.
