I have taken this off my EK4 that had a B18C fitted, so i know this fits great in a Ek engine bay. I have just re-oiled the filter after a good clean. I brought
this new. Probably got a Mugen sticker for it somwhere, just put the Kings one on as i brought so much stuff from them.

whats the difference between this and the ek9 item?

The shape of the filter houseing and the size of the filter, The b18 intake will fit the ek9 with at squeeze, it's a tight fit but it does fit..

Mugen made different shape, volume for B16 and B18, i had the EK9 Mugen intake before this one, but was advised to change to a DC2 one when i installed my B18C, it fit in the EK bay very nice.

This is ideal for EK's with B18 conversions

Someone take this before weekend

^^ def. looks genuine . . .

interesting, but the filter on the ek9 mugen intake seems to have a larger surface area?

sorry to post on the thread but where have you read the difference between b16 and b18 mugen airbox ? i no the "b18" i.e dc2 airbox was made to fit the dc2, vice versa for ek9. I have both and they are the same sizes but different shapes ?

as far as i know the ek9 mugen box does not have that velocity stack thing

Okay, it's got what's in the pics, I've had both and they are different. This is a for sale thread thanks
