my 2nd JDM EP3 Type R

got this a few weeks back in part exchange for my integra dc5. this is now my 4th honda, being an ek9, jdm ep3, jdm dc5 and now this jdm ep3. current list of mods are,

gruppe m carbon airbox
mugen reservoir sock
carbon engine cover
carbon plug cover
grooved discs and ferodo ds2500 pads
spoon low drivers seat rail
alpine ivaw205r double din touch screen
alpine kce-400bt parrot bluetooth kit
alpine type s components and coaxials
FEELS titanium exhaust (not fitted)
DC5 wheels (temporary)

sorry for the kinda copy and paste below from another board i use!

fitted led sidelight bulbs to go with the xenons in the car.

now the important stuff! spent a good 3 days doing the car head to toe as it needed a good clean inside and out! i'll let the pics do the talking rather than explain it all. now my camera skills aren't the best so i couldn't capture swirl mark shots so well, white isn't the most forgiving.

i didnt bother with the wheels, as i was taking them off to repaint them anyway! also fitted a mugen reservoir sock, and carbon plug cover and carbon engine cover to go with my carbon gruppe m induction. still waiting on my red sfs induction hose, spoon oil cap and spoon rad cap.

and how its sitting now on anthracite DC5 wheels while i paint the originals.

well i have the FEELS exhaust for sale. if it doesnt sell i will be fitting it along with a dc sports or toda manifold with kpro, should see 250bhp. chassis i'm going to just go with tein springs as it handles nicely just now.

i got it with the car as part of the p/x deal, so trying to sell it but nobody can afford it! so if it doesnt sell for good money soon i'll fit it and do the other mods.

the 350z went last october and i got a dc5!

the exhaust is for sale for £900 delivered in the UK.

engine/power aside, the ek9 is a better handling car. i went from an ek9 to jdm ep3 before and much preferred the ek9's handling.

i drove the dc5 and jumped straight into the jdm ep3 and i honestly prefer the ep3! feels alot more planted and better handling. the only downside is the ep3's electronic steering isnt as good as the dc5's mechanical.

So a K20 swap in an EK9 = nearly perfect

well my ek9 was stroked, but after driving normal ek9's they feel so gutless!!! so either a b18 or k20 ek9 is a very good car.
