Heres how the car was when i bought it totally standard blue ej9
First things first, fitted coilovers that i had lying around along with a set of gt3's that i had from my glanza. dont have any pictures from just that stage, only a week on with my lips and bumpers fitted. also fitted my grill and plate tilter
Next up was to paint and fit my ek9 spoiler. then fitted my towing eye aswell
Car stayed like that for a while as i lost my job.Interior stayed stock aswell. Found another job then decided it was time for a change of colour.... Decided on going for Ford Frozen White. when the car was in got any dings taken out , a bit of rust by the aerial and the lips moulded in, was a c*** of a job apperntaly. Heres how it looked when i got it back. was pretty pleased! went for something different under the bonnet but that will be reviled later.
engine was taking out and the bay also got a fresh lick of paint, some wire tucking and a b series dropped in
Engine had been down to daz at dnr for a b20vtec build. i supplied him with the block and he done the rest of the work. only thing i never changed was the oil pump and guess what happend BANG! To no fault of daz's may i add. Was pretty gutted to say the least. It gets worse though! arranged to get the engine sent back down and daz was going to supply the block that i would pay for but was kind enough to do the labour free of charge! got a call from daz when the engine arrived
been dropped of the pallet! was strapped down very titly and daz said it looked like the whole pallet had somehow been dropped upside down! Heres the real damage
As you can see the cam gear has completely snapped of wasnt even with the engine and the rocker bolts were fecked and the cam journels were buggered too. ahh well new head also.
Was waiting on a insurance claim for the engine for about 4 months then they decieded not to give me a penny! so im quite a bit out of pocket. For the time being i dropped a b16a2 in it as i wanted me car back. Car has now been garaged since oct for the winter and the b20 is getting rebuilt as we speak ready for april.
While the car was off the road i got a few pieces on the car wrapped in m3 carbon vinyl. give me your opinions what you think. i will be getting the real deal in the summer but this was just for the time being.
Next up was to send the wheels away for a refurb. Got the lip diamond cut and the rest done a nice gold.
Recently purchased a lot off stuff for the car but hasnt been fitted. heres what i bought!
A set of minty mint recaros
Ek9 mats
Ek9 carpet
Ek9 cluster
Ek9 gear Knob
Ek9 rear seats
Ek9 door cards/plastics
Ek9 Steering wheel

Beaks tie bar
