Previous Clusters I've had. Sold most of these already. As you can see, I modify clusters and then resell them. One is an ITR, btw.

My current one is a Canadian Acura EL Cluster w/ EK9 Bezel. My next one will be a modified Spoon cluster.

I think he just takes them out, changes the bezel, and puts new ones in? :p lol
 
i was thinking on the lines of scanning in to a pc and editing in photoshop
i thought that may of worked

close, I make the redline light up as well as the SIR or CTR logo since they don't light up from factory. I also modify the odometers so it matches they buyer's car's original miles so they can keep track. Or if the buyer wants 0 miles so they can keep track of a fresh new built motor.

Here's an SIR cluster without the RPM and Logo light up. Dull and boring eh? lol

Also for US clusters with white needles, I paint the needles to replicate the Spoon and EK9's yellow/green needles. As well as making the bulbs amber to light up orange.
 
Ah I see, I noticed the needles :)

I want my redline to light up! lol!.......but then again, I'd rather have an SiR cluster, they are just too bloody expensive! Don't suppose you still have one?!

I'll swap you for an EK4 cluster? :p
 
All clusters are actual photo taken shots, nothing edited in photochop. This what you'll actually see in person. I currently have 2 EK9's for sale right now for a low price.

Nah, don't have any right now. Might have one later down the road. I had 6 before, all sold including my own. I'll let you know if anything.

Will have a guide as soon as I can find a way to explain it where it can be fail-proof. I tried explaining it to a few people but they managed to damage they're temp/gas needles as well as they're odometer and now won't read at all or read very inaccurately. :((

Don't want to make others risk they're expensive clusters. I do them since I have a lot experience with these. I broken 2 DX clusters and 1 US SI cluster as my test dummies learning how to do this, but now perfected my skills.
 
i might do down my local scrapyard and get one and have a play around with it lol

I usually sell Canadian SiR's for $400 shipped (tracking and insured) in the States ($375 picked-up) with everything done to it as well as the buyer's mileage request. I don't mine shipping internationally if they buyer agrees to the shipping costs.

The 2 EK9's are cheap though since they're not as rare. They're $375 shipped in the States. (tracking and insured/ $350 picked-up)
 
they all look nice wish i had the skills to do this.
 
I can do modifications to others' cluster for a $30 fee. They just cover the shipping costs to and from me.

But for EK4 (ones with red numbers and red needles w/ 9K and KMH) I would sell those for $300 shipped in the states. I can't do much with those except make the redline light up and add a custom carbon fiber overlay on the stock bezel and custom mileage if requested. Don't know how much more for internationally, would assume probably $15-$25 more shipping it depending where in the world you are.
 
Ah I didn't mean I wanted to send it over, although that would have been nice lol! I was just curious how much they sell for in the US!

I have on here I was planning on putting in my car, but if they are worth something I might sell it. Someone offered me $170 shipped to the US for it today, but for that price I may as well keep it!!! lol.

Shipping isn't much, about $30-40 :)
 
i hope you will do this for a long time il hit you up one day with a cluster.

You'll be giving it away for that price lol. They value more like $300 stock as hell with nothing done to it. I guess $250 if your desperate without losing too much money. I sell them for $300 since I get them for cheap whenever I can find some. And with the modifications, it beats others selling the same cluster. :p

Even if I don't sell anymore because I'm busy or just have a better job where I won't need to buy and resell clusters, I'll still do it as a side hobby for other fellow EKer's for small fees. :)
