So I finally get done wit my engine swap, the car starts up fine but does not want to go into gear. The clutch and pp are brand new, I bled the fak out the lines and still nothing am i overlooking something here, can someone help me.:angry2:

make sure the shift linkage is setup correctly, how does the clutch pedal feel?

u gonna have to open it back up and make sure everythings tight...that happen to me but i had a bad clutch...did u buy ur clutch new or used?

yes the linkages are all nice and tight, i set clutch pedal to spec. it seem to me like its slipping it makes a slight noise like the disc rotating on the flywheel but not grabbing.

What gear does not engage, first, second, all?
It does not mean if the linkage is tight, that you must be able to engage gear.
Disconnect the linkage, go below car try to change gears by hand it here is too much resistance detach transmission from engine and see if you have problem with springs on disc. I had case that spring from the plate broke and could not shift gears.
If clutch is ok, then open trans housing.

Try roll the car forward while its not running and then try selecting a gear. Was the gearbox working prior to you swapping it in to your car?

you need to know the current thickness of the portion that engages the disc. Resurfacing a flywheel that is beyond its service limits will actually be detrimental.

An arbitrary skim is not something I would risk and would could cause the clutch to not properly disengage.
