was away drag racing there last weekend and took the ek9 for its first real big event

managed to get 13.95 seconds @ 104mph

with a 0 to 60 feet time of 2.150

and thats without a diff and with crappy road tyres.

hoping to shave a few tenths off with some lightweight wheels, 888's and an LSD

what does everyone else get?:nice:

Don't have a quarter mile time. But i've got a 0-100 KMPH of 5.31:)

Sounds like a good 1/4 mile time:nice: Did you drive any b16b EK9's before you bought your B18c ITR engined one? just curiuos to the different between the two..

no but i realy should of.lol

that is a great time....

There cant be much difference in the UK spec B18 as thats only 187hp.... the JDM spec i would of thought would have been a little more pockey with the increase in torque too. Wouldnt mind a go in one though.....

thats a great time:nice:
you at the "straightliners" event ?

mates best time in 98 spec teg was about 14.8 or so last year!

another guy from donegal managed 14.3 in his stripped out
96 spec teg :p

so i would be very happy with your time...you must be good at the "launch"!

SAXO vts: is your B18 out of a UKDM ITR or a JDM?

A decent quarter mile time you got there... :nice:

hmm very fast time there. and for havin no lsd and and track tyres that 0-60ft time is crazy fast.

what mods u got. cos its mad how u can take this engine out a lighter car then fit it with no lsd and run a time almost a second faster than a std itr. also almost half a sec faster in the 60ft alone

good time tho. u got pics of the time sheet. would be good to see cheers

after going to the strip today for the amount of power the dyno "claimed" your motor has, your time is ridiculously good.

In fact i would go as far as saying i have no idea how you traveled so fast... Your terminal speed also looks very high for your 60ft time in that particular car....

Would like to see the sheet :)

ye i would like to see a time sheet to. here is a time sheet that i found its from when my vti was std. iv only run it once since tuned but was pissing down so was a wast of time.

the wind was hard in are face but i done another run when there was no wind and still only run a 15.3 so that was the max i could get out it std.

but a 13.9 with 0-60ft 2.1 sec is crazy fast.

What do you mean no diff? I thought all EK9 types are came with a LSD as standard..

They do gee, although he isnt sure why his hasnt got one....

Removed before purchase maybe? could be anything but they do come with LSD as stock :)

Dam,

Another reason to ensure you get a test drive.

ill try and find the time sheets,

i put them somewhere safe, so safe that i cant find them

i know there is one but it was my very first run when i didnt know how the lights worked so ****ed up the start as i went to far and was in reverse when the lights went green
