I did the conversion and fabricated the surround, some more pics in my build thread.

Cool video, your EK9 goes well, can defo notice the gear set. Donnington seems a pretty good track.
 
Yeh up to 100 in 4th its quick, 5th is good for 115-120 anything more and it needs a really longgggggg straight


Donington is a cracking track, up there with Cadwell as my favourites
 
Hi mate, was wondering if its was you at Donington. A friend of mine said he spoke to someone from Chez with an Ek9 :p
 
Are your gears straight cut ? :) or the semi helical ones ?

Yes Sam it was me, I spoke to your friend from Darley Dale, small world

The gears are semi helical, the whine is very nice, although many people try telling me the gearbox is "on its way out" haha

Those video laps are from my first few laps on R888, did about 15 laps on normal road tyres in the morning to get a feel of the car, I estimate I was probably 5-10 seconds slower per lap!
 
Love the noise from the gears, looks like some great weather. Tried Donny before?
 
Yeh I did it last April, so had a good idea of what to expect, couldn't have asked for better weather in Feb :-D

Going on anothee in April, possible Donington, Cadwell or Blyton.
