My jordan back from paint and ep3 seats fitted

Ok so my jordan had a bit of tin worm on the rear arches, Had it sorted and most of the car has been resprayed and sealed in and cavity waxed. Also got a type r style grill and had the bumper smoothed of all evidence of the old plate and a jap plate mounted on the passenger side to make it nice and clear for when i stick my fmic there next month.

Also fitted the ep3 seats i got from loveland of here the other day... not selling the jordan seats before anyone asks as it will go back to standard interior one day.

wow ep3 seats are ugly

as much as i detest leather seats i think in this instance there appropriate
 
get that sound deading ripped out did it on my jordan lol not bad but not into seats either but if u like it keep it
 
I liked the jordan seats but they dont hold you well at all and these ep3 seats were the cheapest option as ek9 recaros go for stupid money and always look worn out to me.



They may go back one day when ive had my fun on the track.

leather wont keep you in if you're on track alot, agreed.
however, neither will ep3 seats. i loved my ep3, on road and on track, but you really do need more aggressive seats if you're tracking alot, as they're more comfy sports seats than proper performance seats. me and my passenger kept falling out of them, basically ended up on each other's laps :p
very nice, yeah, but could be better. it may be better with harnesses using the port built into the seat, i didnt try though as i only tracked it a few times (only had it a month :p).

other than that, looks good mate. im not too hot on jordans though, are they merely yellow vti's with a few jordan badges about? pretty sure they were, would happily be proven wrong though :)

:s Iv got two different recaros in my Jordan, not 'jdming' it up. Just making it better to drive.



Paint looks alright, seats are barkin though.
 
jordan aint just a vti mate there only 500 of them ever made well about 300 now so are getting really rare.

Nothing jdm on my car what so ever apart from the grill, and the jordan seats are nice but if you ever been on a track with them..... they suck the big one lol.


This is gonna be a track car with a turbo b16 lump, jordan seats wont cut it... shame as they look nice.

Agreed the ep3 seats as stock aint that much better but they do grip your clothes better than the leather and i will using a harness.

excuse my ignorance, but, how are they different than a vti, other than a few badges and some yellow stuff? the leather seats arent all that, my fathers a trimmer so i know a good retrim when i see one, and the stock jordan ones could be better.

do they have uprated performance stuff like cams, lsd etc, over and above a vti?
must be something ive missed. im not putting them down, just dont know much about em :)

They come with a thicker antiroll bar and a front upper strut brace... nothing worth mentioning really.

oh is that it? so there or thereabouts a yellow vti then. cool beans, i thought as much.

Forgot to say i am spraying the red plastic insert in the ep3 seats today in an effort to make them blend in more.
 
I hate the EP3 seats in mines. They sit to high. When the sun visor is down all I can see is the end off my bonnet. I have to slouch in them to see the road properly
