My K24 EK9 at santa pod for the USC weekend

That run was a 13.6 but my best was a 13.49. I was struggling a lot with grip in first and second. And it was my first time on the drag strip this weekend. I'm hoping to get into the 12's next time with more practice and maybe better tyres. I had federal 595 RSR's on for this

Liking it, more grip and Im sure you will knock a good chunk of time off pal.

Thanks. There is a big room for improvement my 60ft time is 2.2

What was your trap speed matey?

Did you have to shift to 5th?

nice one beating that chav wagon :D

Seems quick mate, see what you mean about needing more grip in the lower gears!

My fastest trap speed was 104.71 and yes I was into 5th even with 205/50/16's on. I'm going to try some 205/50/15 R888's on standard wheels and space saver spare wheels on the back next time

246bhp and 196ft/lb mapped at Eurospec

Its fully stripped with a cage to. I got it weighed with one seat and 3/4 of a tank and it was 1020kg. I could save more weight with bucket seats

To be fair that's about right on a street tire, if you went with a drag radial you might drop the sixty to 1.8-1.9 with a well set up chassis.

Ah o.k. Its good to have some input from someone who has some experience. I was getting told all sorts when I was there. Well you can hear the amount of wheel spin I was getting so better tyres would make a big difference. I might try raising the rear suspension and dropping the front to

drag slicks at santa pod will knock a lot of that time!

in ireland we have B16a EKs pulling 13.0

In the states there are k24's running 9's. My engine has all standard honda parts apart from the tb and exhaust manifold and the suspension is set for track not drag
