My Mugen DB8 R Build 15/05/2015 P11

[DB8 TYPER]

Did my car over the weekend lovely weather, used Dodo juice hard wax on this, engine bay didn't need cleaning has it's always clean[/b]

Did my uncles B4 clayed barred it and swirl marks removed, finished off with Auto Glym HD wax.

Leather treated and all cleaned

Engine all cleaned with G101

I might be changing my mind on the build looking at getting a k20 in there since the prices have gone down on them, then again am thinking I've got most of the build parts for my b18 decisions decisions

Great car to drive only down side too much turbo lag, getting it remapped on Ecutek soon

cant recommend that package enough romain tuned mine on it and im 100% happy with results/setup

Been a while since I've updated my build

Resprayed my intake manifold thought might as well fit Hondata intake manifold gasket and throttle body intake was port and polished to match with throttle body

Fitted EK9 throttle cable fitted had a slight problem with idling due to cable bracket

So ended up getting this bracket which sorted the problem out thanks tp Stew PPW

Fitted Mintex pads

Odyssey battery dont if to fit this yet has I will need Passwrod JDM battery tray

I was getting knocking sound from front suspension it turned to be Buddy Club camber kit ball joint so got replacement ball joint from Buddy Club but will changing these to CyperSpeed ones soon

Finally given it a wash, 1st time using snow foam lot of fun lol

My revs was staying over 1k due throttle cable bracket it was fully adjusted to the end on cable, all good now with new bracket

The innovate bracket is longer? I think that my cable is not tight enough...

My idle is not constant and some little problems when I drive at constant rpm...
And to finish I think that my throttle body block when it's at 2000 rpm...
So strange...

have you decided about the K20 option yet.. would be nice to keep it B18 i think... but then it power straight out of the box from K20.. Hmmm i feel your pain thats a big decision..

Looks like I'll be staying B18 has I've got most of the parts if I go K20 then even more spending lol
