My new beast - Not a Honda!

looks lovely, how does it compare to the ek9?

Completely different all together. Feels seriously tight and hardcore as standard and boost is addictive just like tec! I still love EK9's though, like I said im just trying something different for now!

very nice, how old are you and what's the insurance like?

Im 22, insurance is the maximum it could be - group 20 AND a grey import. I only took out a week's temp cover to get it home and that was £23. Quote for the year will probably be around £1600 fully comp.

For me, EVO VI is the best, if only it was tommy makinen ed.
Hope that you will instal fog lights :nice:

Yes I do like the Tommi Maks, but they still hold a huge premium. I was after an RS anyway so im happy. I may look into changing the front bumper for a Tommi Mak one at some point though - as I love the curves at the sides.

stunning m8, ihave got a civic jordan and decided to garage that and do some big work to it and got a evo9 fq-340 :) cant beat the performance of the evos and a bit of boost ;)

You have the best of both worlds! I would love an EK9 for daily but I cant afford to buy both let alone insure them!

Looking good mate have to give me a shout when it's out of hibination. Shaw I will give you a run for your money! Will this be tracked at some point? Any figures on it?

Im also shaw you will! Dont get me wrong this thing certainly moves alright, but they arnt shy when it comes to the scales either, so the power to weight drops! Power is standard. 260-280bhp depending on how healthy the engine is. I would like to do a few trackdays next summer, but only when i've done the basics!

Thanks for all the other comments lads,

Josh..

the only evo i'd ever buy, i think they look the dogs balls, nice colour too man! enjoy! :woot:

Hi mate

That sure is a worthy replacement for the Ek9. It must be tough not being able to drive it for a few months though.:nono:

If its even in half as condition as the 9' I bought from you then thats one fine car.

Hope you keep us posted on how you progress with this.

Cheers Zen!

Yes this is in very good condition too, only imported 6 months ago, never been under-sealed, standard with approx 50k on the clocks and a grade 4B! There are only a few minor body scuffs here and there which have already been attended to because im a fussy b*stard! :p

Anyway I will get a build thread up once i've saved some more money to start buying mods!

Josh..

mate that is one seriously cool car you've got yourself. I'm very jelous. Best of luck with it. :nice:

Must be difficult having to drive around in a micra though lol although i might just be able to put up with the micra, if i knew i had the evo sitting at home in the garage. Must be a good feeling man :D

Congrats

Its exactly like that!

I struggle to overtake anything and its hurrendous driving in strong wind, BUT like you say I have an Evo to look forward too and the micra only sips the petrol :))

very very tastey!! if your storing it over winter keep the radio codes etc handy as when you disconnect battery the codes will go, sometimes it can be a pain to get hold of the codes but if you already have them then it will be no problem.

Fantastic car, bet it sounds as good as it looks!

very nice mate, hope you're not missing the ek9 too much! :)

very nice mate wouldnt mind one of these, how much did it cost you if u dont mind me asking fella?
:D
