looking good, you not be hitting your leg off that front bar though?

You know when you are serious when!...
Nice work!

Be sure to pad the cage especially by your legs. ;)

So it's your car I see on Facebook!
Nice cage. I've just fitted a cage aswell, msa approved custom cages cage.
Just got to send off for my certificate now it's all in.

Whats the need for sending samples away? And certificates? The blue book doesnt state you need certification?

This is for Custom Cages, if you buy a set from them and fit it yourself (or have it fitted by someone other than themselves) you need to send them a sample which they will test for strength and issue you with a certificate for the cage if it passes.

I can't wait to have mine in! My cage will definitely go through the dash tho, I also want a bar through the door. Did you decide against that purely for ease of access?

Custom Cages are not the MSA so why the need for a cert? Having quickly looked through the blue book, there is no need for handing over a certificate to scrutineering as Custom cages state on there website.

Aslong as it meets the requirements stated in the blue book for your race series/class then you are good to go:nice:

Geldy, that is a good point as the MSA does state the frontleg has to follow the windscreen pillar, but then it goes on to say "The mounting foot must not be rearward of the foremost point of the rollbar" so the cage to me is perfectly acceptable.

The cross door bars are a pain when getting in and out, also you can't use door cards with them, not that it bothers me but some won't like it.
Wishing I had gone for rear diagonal now seeing yours.
