hey all,i managed to sell my UK spec dc2 and my brother (BACON) has sold me his vogue silver ek9 and to put it bluntly im rather chuffed with it!!!!!!!!!
ok its been stroked out to a b18(althoiugh im not sure what kit it has),buddy club racing spec coilovers, fujitsbu exhaust system and a few other goodies on it.i think it was last dyno'd at 196bhp.
its been in my possesion a week now and all last week in the evenings i set to and did some serious detailing,i wet and dried it,clayed it them three step machine polished it then just to make sure i gave it an extra two coats of meguires canuba wax.
i was cleaning it tonight and thought i may aswell get a few snaps, even thought they are only in my driveway which is a poor effort i know!!!:)
anyway my sister who loves taking snaps did the honours for me so any comments im sure would be welcome:)the light was poor im afraid so a bit unfair on her but hey ho......

also had the chance to give her an oil and filter change and heard this royal purple shiz is meant to be whiz so thought id give it a whirl, also treated her to a pair of toyo R1R's on the front which i cannot recommend highly enough!!

like i said all comments welcome

I think silver is by far the slickest colour for the Ek9, the white wheels look ace too!

Mint nine mate love the vsm ek9's

Looks sweet as mate :) Do away with the Royal Purple though dude, it's terrible stuff so many horror stories about it, oilman will give you the low down if you want more facts about it!!

cheers for all the comments guys,am loving it so far.as for the royal purple oil,it looks like im gonna have to bite the bullet and flush out the royal purple and put other stuff in there instead...a friend did a bit of research on another forum and apparently someone did some tests on the royal purple and found high levels of sulphur in it,which when it got hot produced an acidic compound.......not ideal for the innards of an engine!!!!

Looks good:) but I'm biased..

Was an awesome car, no doubt I'll be back in an EK9 again at some point.
