update. Car on road. Had it down at my mates unit for the past week machine polishing it and fixing a few wee things that were annoying me like the bumper droop at the back.

Anyways, i wont give you my life story. Here is the car and the spec list to date.

So small updates.

New plate is on the car now as i found the docs so just need to pop through to dvla on friday before uni and get it put on the car.

Also got spoon front/rear strut braces. Rear one actually made a bit of a difference which i really wasnt expecting.

Also got a wee spoon sticker for the brace/bumper.

So there will be a few updates coming over the next couple of weeks. Having to use my work bus to go everywhere was getting really rubbish so ive decided to put the itr back on road and not poof out. Not having a cool car to go places is crap.

Personel Neo Grinta 330mm in suede with red stitching which arrived today

BC Racing Coilovers courtesy of faz @ funkypower which will be here tomorrow fingers crossed. Went for 10/8 spring rate so should be interesting...
Also bought new 100w HID low beams as my headlight design is terrible and thus my low beam sucks. Hoping this will drastically improve it as it seems to be about the brightest lights i can find.
Upgraded my high beam to HID too for HYPERTOUGE

Rubbish update, but i had a wee sub in the car and it burst recently, so got myself a new jbl sub to go in the kenwood unit. Fitted it and works better than ever. Can hopefully dial the bass out of the door speakers and turn the music up to a volume where i can hear it over my stupid exhaust.

If its good weather tomorrow, im going to go out and remove the seats and front carpet and remove the sound deadening, then, if i have time im going to create some sort of cold air feed and replace my old filter and put the cover back on the filter.

@ irony of removing sound deadening and adding sub/amp tho.

My coilovers are suppost to arrive thu/fri so fitting/setting them will be next.

So after waiting 2 weeks for the spring rating i was after, these finally turned up:

Fitted them today in the cold, snow and rain

I need to adjust camber arms as im running way too much camber for road use. I also broke a shaft tonight or something of that nature, ill have to investigate.

Not sure im into the car as low as this too...

Anyways. Suspension feels good and new steering wheel feels amazing.

Ill get better pics up when the car is clean and sorted prob next week.

Yeh, for some reason i had a soft spot for that car. I dunno why it was just an old jordan, but i was into it haha.

Update

So broke the car the other night, tried to fix it myself, but an hour of me hitting stuff and attempting to fix a pumped shaft resulted in me driving over to see Gerry and within 30 mins he had the bearings sorted on the shaft, a new centre shaft fitted and the car driving like new. Top Guy. Second time he has sorted me out in the last month or so.

Anyways. New suspension feels very good. Had some time there so went and washed the car:

Picked up some spacers tonight think they are either 15 or 20mm.

Cheers man. The car actually feels so much more responsive on a smooth toad now. On a bumpy road tho, it is now useless. I went for the 10/8 speing rates and its very stiff.

Its not that low tho. I dont know why but it doesn't scrape over any speedbumps Ive went over recently. The most it's done is lightly graze my exhaust but it's not marked it at all.

How does the BCs feel compared to the Cuscos then?

Just realised ive not updated this in ages.
The BCs are good. on a smooth road, they are great. on rough roads, i cant drive fast lol. partly to do with my ride height tho.

So, trying to think what ive did since this was last updated.

The car was in at CLCM in Edinburgh being setup. Made a massive difference to the way the car handles. The rear felt 10 inches wider. Still getting used to it tho.

Also my new wing came so between it being test fitted and painted i ran spoilerless for a week.

So it was time for new tyres so decided to switch wheels. Need to paint non stupid colour but happy with the way they look on the car apart from that.
