was also running around in this for the summer. Did a big road trip in it and was the perfect tool for the job minus a little luggage room and ground clearance.
Bought it like this:

So, done some work on the car today. thought id update this in an effort to motivate me to get her back on the road.

Bought a d1 spec snap off boss kit, a recaro spg and buddyclub rail. The back of the seat was slightly tatty so decided id give it a lick of paint so it looks fresh for going into the car.

Got myself a buzz gun too. Makes life sooooooooo much easier.

As some of you are aware i jumped at the chance of that 1.5 way ats lsd equiped ek9 box that came up for sale recently so thats why the box is off the car. waiting on a vss sensor and need to gather enough cash to buy a new clutch and lightened flywheel.

There was red paint on the lips of the wheels too and i thought i was going to have to get them powdercoated but as it turns out i literally just scraped the paint off and they look like new appart from a few kerb marks which ill need to touch up.

Tried on the new nuts today. Unsure about them tbh.

Also got the head back from Andrew and it looks brand new.

Anyways, This is how the car is sitting atm. Should be a few more updates to come as it makes its way from my driveway onto the road.

c&c welcome as per.

sweet updats man, done a crackin job with the bucket :nice:

i must invest in a buzz gun as well, all this rachet carry on is no good :(( lol

so, yesterday i started putting the head/gearbox/clutch&flywheel/98 spec mani on.

Head is on and all i need to do is get someone with a massive gun to take the big bolt off on the block to do the timing belt. I also ran into a problem with the clutch kit i bought as the wrong pressure plate was supplied. Got a new one late last night tho so all good now.

Im Currently waiting on the rain to go off so i can go out to bake a stab at finishing it/getting it running.

Thought id update as im board.
