Here is my rebuild thread...

This is how it started... Well it finally happened..... - ImportsNC Online Forums // Your Source for NC Import Scene

The block has been torn down and sent to... Laskey Racing Online Store

The head will be sent there as well...
Mid october i will have more to add as far as laskey racing

Now as far as the hatch it self... I'm working it it day by day

Cleaned the tranny today... Cleaned under the fender wells also but I post pics after I repaint

What are your opinions on painting the tranny to help hide dirt

Started on my wire tuck...

Ok... Well stupid me didn't take any before photos but if you have owned any civic you know where the wires are coming from and now you'll see where they can be hidden...

Here's the wiper motor wire tuck and brake fluild sensor... I did this last night

I hide all the wires across the bottom and hid everything the best I could...

Here's what I did with the clump wires coming out of the fire wall on the drivers side...

These go to the ecu... I've pulled most of the tape and wire loom to get to what ever I can pulled inside the car...

Its a 24mm sway bar... as for the bolts- I'm getting them through work out of the mastercarr catalog... I could get you some if you would like:secret:

sweet, i have that same sway bar coupled with a ST 22mm rear handling is VERY neutral, i love it!! Can you just link me to the place to get the bolts or you have to have an account to get them?

I have the rear sway bar as well... I'm going to pull that tomorrow and paint it to
You should be able to buy them from them... I'll post up links tomorrow
 
Looking good! Are you relocating the battery too?

What was the stuff you used on the gearbox to clean it up? cheers
 
good stuff , would rather be doing soldered joints with heatshrink than all those crimp connectors though,

Thanks... I was going to relocate the battery and fuse box but now i'm trying to figure a way to the run the two wires that come out of the fuse box, through the fuse box, out the back and to the battery...
As for the cleaner on the tranny... Just a cleaner called Grease lighting

You're the second person to say that... I guess I better go back and change it... I didn't have a soilder iron till now... I bought on just the other day
