Hey what's up guys! New here, I'm from Toronto. Looking for an EK9 to import here and be one of the few owners of an actual EK by next summer. I currently own an Acura EL that I am thinking of parting out and selling and grabbing a legit RHD EK9. Only things I'll be keeping from my EL are my MF10's and my bride seats which will be going on the EK :)

Welcome mate, got any pics of your current car? I've got no idea what a Acura EL even looks like!

Oh yeah, sorry it's a Canadian only car, the closest resemblence to the 1.6 EL is the Honda Domani. Here are some pics of how mine looks, MF10's not on since they're still at the wheel shop getting refinished.

Thats a very nice car but you should keep the recaro seats when u get your ek9 there too nice to put in some bride seats
 
welcome! a fellow canadian, i think you're the first i've seen since i joined. what are the import laws in ontario? the earliest i can import a 97 EK9 into BC is 2012........ and right now they are lobbying to ban the import/sale of ALL JDM cars :'(

Hmmm...it all depends on the condition. I my experience the EK9 seats are usually worn and faded, and almost look pink. If they're mint I'll keep the Recaro's for sure. The Brides have better lumbar support though.

Same as BC, 15 years... :(

I have a plan on getting one in, kinda of have a link to somebody who was able to bring it in and register it, just waiting to see if all his paperwork goes through and if it does I'll probably be buying his. :nice:
