ive been talking to this guy about this 97 hatch shell for 3 bills. im gunna drop a ls in it with b16 tranny that i have already.

the black hatch i got real cheap. its been a while since then i already dropped the ls engine with b16 tranny. i have to get more recent pics. car is coming out slowly but surely
 
nice! I wish I can get one as cheap!
 
update

its running strong all i need is to regester it now. new si's, gsr penut butter, interior, new spoon spoiler, and recoated front c/f hood and i also added power windows o yea i still need a new dash and side skirts:(

i bored out the cylinders to 84
slapping on a b16 vtec head
has gsr cams
i gotta a new dash :)
got them side skirts to
sold the si's to go vtec
project still hasn't gone over 1500 spent





what do you guys think of the satin black paint scheme i wanna do it on the hatch
 
wait is the block sleeved or did you bore out the stock cylinders to 84?

oh wow, you know that your only supposed to go to 82mm MAXIMUM right? let us know how long it lasts or if it even works, pics of the sleeves would be nice.
 
Hmmm, is $3000 cheap where you are cause I got my 96 with a running B16 for only $500 more than that. Of course I was also told I was lucky as hell to pull that off. Thank god the guy was on tour (bass player of Paramore) and his dad was the one who actually sold it to me.

good find, was it jeremys old car?? feck if my dad done that he would be in trouble, im sure he has enough $$ to buy something better now though, but id say he was pissed off non the less

3000 for a clean title hatch is cheap i got lucky and found a shell for 3 bucks realy it was 250 and 50 bucks so they can tow it to my crib

:secret: yea ill let you know but i hope it works. i really dont car if it blows up i have another block and head to play with:D:D:D
 
o know a guy selling a jdm dc2 shell for 900 euro.

all it needs is an engine


so 3000 dollars for a civic hatch shell is insane

or am i misreading this thread? 3 bills?
