No compromise Supercharged ek9 build

careful with them D1 nuts

heard of them stripping the thread clean off on the inside

yeh heard the same with nearly every set of forged aluminium wheel nuts including rays. you just need to be careful with them and torque them up correctly. i have had my rays nuts on for about a year and had no problem but i use copper grease on them every time i put them on and torque them up properly.

Seeing as you are one for attention to detail, your arch liners are fitted wrong.....

The plastic at the rear of the arch should overlap your sill trims, not tuck underneath them

:nice:

haha chancer. Your going to have to tempt me with a better offer alex. As they say anything is for sale at the right price ;)

Firas - Love the sound of the charger man, the exhaust doesn't over power it at all. I think I need to find one of those. Spectacular build again sir.

Appreciated guys.

Been busy over the weekend with trying to get the car sorted out. Managed to get the Arp studs in, braided lines fitted, All 4 calipers bled and the new trailing arm bushes fitted. will get pics up soon.

Been wanting a set of gauges for a while. Was going to go down the spa dual gauge route built into the honda blanking plate i bought a while ago but think that it looks a bit out of place so bit the bullet and ordered a Defi- din gauge. Three gauges fitted neatly into single din size with a flat glass face with all gauges angled towards the driver (RHD) for better visibility. They are exactly what i was wanting in terms of look (oem) and quality so cant wait to get them fitted once they get here.

Can't wait to see this in the flesh.
Much hassle fitting the arp wheel studs ? Been looking at fitting spacers on mine but don't want to over stress the oem wheel studs

Likewise mate. Hopefully your at the Dundee meet on Saturday :).

The ARP studs weren't too bad to replace. You will probably have to replace the wheel bearing at the same time though. Dont know how strong oem studs are but ARP studs have a tensile strength of 190,000 psi so are incredibly strong. Defo a worth while upgrade imo.

Think I'll end up missing the meet on Saturday as I'm done in Blackpool so will be cutting it fine to make it back

Cheers man. Likewise mate your car is a stunner and very unique-knew it was you before you pulled up lol. Was good meeting you as well and looking forward to the next meet for sure.

Looking good, how hard were the studs to fit?

And what read outs does the defi give?
