North+South november meet (sunday 28th)


Forecast looks bad :(

Unfortunately I'll start the list off

Won't be making it:

1. mld22 (sorry guys...just don't fancy the snow)
 
yeah it does look bad to be honest, think maybe a cancelation might be in order :((

If so i'll let Banzai know and we can sort something out for early next year or somethin...
 
3. i would be travelling with martin/gav so it just seems too risky to drive down there and somethin happens. :( absolutley gutted was soooo looking froward to this as well

gutted lol you didnt book a hotel!! :(
 
Those that booked a hotel I suggest phoning to rearrange for a few weeks time but not to cancel. then on monday phone to cancel so they can't charge you for late can cellation fee.
 
I'm still going to try and make it! Me and the other Keith in mine....cleaned the car today just finished haha interesting when u put tire black on and it freezes :O looks awesome now but once I drive it will be dirtyRemember decat ;) lol :(

Is there any one still looking to meet at Edinburgh first?

Right guys there aint gonna be enough bodys up for this now due to the weather, it may look ok in some areas but its to snow in glasgow and carlisle tonight and tomorrow so the sensable thing to do is cancel it for the time being. Not worth all the hassle for 5 cars to turn up covered in sleet and salt and maybe some new dings and dents from sliding about the roads:angry:

Working tonight (driving a bus) and the roads in Glasgow and surounding areas are begining to freeze up so ice is on the cards tonight also :((

I will contact Banzai to tell them and let them know we will be re-arranging it for another date when the weather is better.

Cant be helped sadly but nothing we can do about the weather or road conditions just one of those things.

Will see how the roads are tomorrow morning and we can maybe get a meet/shoot in glasgow or something if the Scottish lads are up for it.

Do feel bad however for the couple chaps that booked a hotel but as said cant help the weather sadly :((

Working till 12 tonight so havnt got time to pm everyone on the list untill then.

Have a quick check on here in morning! Maybe scrap Carlisle like Gav said and meet at the quay for some pics? Weather permitting!!

If all good 10:30 at hemerston gate is good!
 
ah well its one of these things i guess. I'll be up for the a Scottish one dependant on the roads

yeah man weather permitting we can still meet up in glasgow for a shoot and that will see how it is tomorrow morning :nice:

Gutted, won't be able to make the meet if it's up north as I'll be driving up to work in edinburgh early Monday morning so don't fancy doing the trip twice.

Would be up for a mid week meet another time though
