Nurburgring 2010 EK9.org trip.


Depending on my Mrs's Uni dates and Ross and Gem. I'm hoping for 1st of april drive out come back on the tues 6th ish. I will confirm early in the week.

These dates are sounding good! spoke to a mate and he was suggesting for me to leave from Newcastle, so should be able to meet up with anyone heading over from there :blinx:
 
is everybody going over together or booking seperate dates that may cross over with some other people?

i presume a good few of us are going together..... At least i hope so as i dont really see the great fun trekking all the way down to Germany on me jack jones lol.
 
Money wise looks like i wont be able to make the april trip,

Il be there in june tho for around a week, MAYBE a weekend in april just as a taster but my long stay will be in june, Il let you know dates when i have some :) Hopefuly itl cross over with some of u guys!
 
Hello guys and girls

Expected dates are going to be 1st of April to 6th of April (May still change but confirmation this weekend when we book our villa)

What is going to happen is myself, GF, Ross, Gem, Al, Karen, Tim and Tony are sharing a Villa at Center Parcs not to far from the Ring. As we are all 12 dayers (Our main holiday) so we will all stay in one Villa together for obvious reasons.

For cost reasons I would recommend you sort out getting into teams for a 5 day villa approx 8 sharing? This is going to require some communication between members and payments to an elected person to book a villa likely to be Martin as I see him and can help him to organise that part. Any payment will be non refundable as this will be based upon 8 sharing! Deadline will be Feb the Sun 7th for all payments to be given in full.

Until you have a villa for 8.

I will supply you with all the details you need but this is something I need you to sort out by getting into teams.

Then I can give the relevant information to each of you.

I think for ease of booking perhaps limit the available spaces to 8 from the list.

Many reasons for this,

1) Convoy control will become very difficult to control over 8hrs of driving with more people. (Currently it will still be split convoys and directions given.You will need to have a sat nav with European maps this is very important!)

2) We can only fit 8 in a villa that keeps the costs lower if we start having to have 2 man 4 man villas the costs will go up for those individuals. So limited to 8 spaces!

Also

Have people organised there ADAC cover yet? This needs to be done ASAP!

Coming weeks we’ll need to book the ferry. If it stays as is then we will be paying approx £30 return which is excellent, travelling on the Norfolk line.

Im most probably going to have at least a mate with me in my car so i'll add the mate to the list in my team.

Im going to fill out the ADAC form now, although a little unsure about the address i need to send it too??

ADAC e.V 91015 Munchen ??? Would i be right in assuming this is a German address? lol

I may send it through Fax.

Ian, do you know of any reccomended villas local? Or a villa in the location your staying(Center parcs)?

As most of you know i am breaking my 9 so i wont be able to come for obvious reasons! lol

But if someone has a spare seat in there car i would love to come along with you guys!

so what is a rough price? and are we getting the boat from dover?
what is the entry price to put the car on the track and do you pay by the lap?
also how much is accommodation? and how long does it take to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road?
 
Welcome to pax over in mine James, just on a slightly different schedule, leaving Thursday for the trackday at Spa on the Friday, then onto the Ring for Saturday.
