oil catch ?

Does the b&r have a drainback feature?

When you use the 2 block plugs and block off the oem one with a bung, how long does it take for the catchcan to fill up?

it looks like the larger b&r one does not have a drain back but the small one does like the endyn. if u have the drain back hooked up the can will never fill up. without the drain back hooked up it would be hard to fill up n/a but forced induction different story i have seen one fill up half way after around 15 dyno passes without the drain back.

Thanks for answering! How do you hook the drainback up? Also, wouldn't the drainback mean that the crappy oil and vapour and stuff go back into the engine?

the kit supplies u with a plastic tee that u cut into one of the 2 lines coming off the back of the block. so from the bottom of the catch can your gonna run a line that ties into one of the 2 lines coming off the block.
the oil traveling to the tank and back to the engine isnt damaged unless your catch can and lines arent clean. the vapors escape through the air filter on the tank, thats why i like these kits cause your stock pcv system recycles crankcase oil vapors and redistributes it right to your intake manifold.

Oh ok, so using a T piece would help the oil drainback while decelerating obviously, otherwise the pressure wouldn't allow it to come down the pipe!? Is it worthwhile connecting the drainback to the sump?

dig this up coz i bought my shelf an oil catch tank.
is this a proper way to install it ??

does it need to attach a filter ?
the catch tank location does effect anything ?
thanks

raging angel do you have a big picture of the catch can installed? thanks

theyre not uselessi had a cusco fited to my standard b16 EG and i was suprised how much **** came out, it was all yellow and stinky lol

the purpose of it is to catch all the blowby gasses and stops them being sucked into the combustion chamber where they can contaminate the fuel mix and increase the risk of detonation :) for better results connect it to the pvc and rocker cover :)

well i installed my catch can today this way up and when i started my engine
something crazy happened !!

i had a crazy idle at 2500rpm and when i pressed the gas the car had very unstable idle like a race car still on 2500rpms!!

i checked all the lines it was as the diagram i dont know what i did wrong:(

can anyone help ? :nerv:
