Was about to clean my spark plugs, then i noticed that there are oils on the tube. Is it dangerous? What are the causes and effects of these oils? How can i fix these? need some help guys thanks

Its theround oil seals on the rocker cover you need to change mate

Yea the 4 seals mate.Just clean the plugs and HT leads off

To be correct about the question you have to get the valve cover gasket set all together, but the problem is infact the spark plug rings for the vavle cover gasket

is honda the only place you can get the full kit ?
Does it come with the bolt washers aswell ?

You can get just the rings from Honda dealers

just go to honda and get them, company called felpro also do them but not sure who stocks them (cheaper and quality noty as good but youll never know)

okay, i thought i blew my engine.... whew! uhm what are the signs to determine if your engine is due for overhaul? or how to know if it's already blow-by

You really can't tell cause Acura/Honda engines are built with such great precision and they are built for a long life.

If you want, you can do a valve adjustment, and a timing belt and water for any type of real maintenance (overhaul) to your engine.

Also it really depends on what type of overhaul your looking to due! If you want to replace your bearings you should get the crank balanced, and micro-polished. Re-hone the cylinders for blow-by proposes with the install of new rings (new over sized pistons if need).

Up top someone side something about just changing the spark plug ring only and not getting the whole valve cover set, I know when you take off the valve cover you should change all gaskets as a set. You will be at a low risk for any other leaks (the right way)!

Thank you bro, i see. So once I get the valve cover off, I'll just have to remove the old spark plug seals under it right? and how can i remove the spark plugs if there are oils around it? it'll go down inside but is it safe?

clean the oil up with a rag
any left overs will just drop into the cylinders and burn off
