If I buy a 5k gearbox is my car suddenly worth 5k more?
 
Fair enough with the type of mods 90 percent of us on here do you can't just add the price you paid for them on, but when each of the components on something like that create a car capable of so much more than anything the standard version is, I think it's fair to charge accordingly. Just my thoughts I've no idea of that's over priced or a bargain either way it's epic!!

A 10 a penny jordan is worth what a jordan is. It's not a competitive rally car.

No, but it might be worth £2.5k more.

I expect this thing cost a lot more than £27k to build.
 
Competitive motorsport is expensive,

Besides as pointed out, 21.5k GBP.
 
It's a reference, a bench mark. A gearbox alone doesn't equate to change in value. It's the complete package that this car comes with.
 
I've seen sequential gearboxes for these types of cars for €15k, how come it's so hard to believe there's people spending this kind of money on an old Civic to actually use it for rally or track purpose only?
